Describe this terrible dream. Is it a reflection of past events or an omen of things to come?
In my character’s nightmare, they find themselves standing at the edge of a dark and stormy forest. No matter how hard they try, they can’t seem to find a way out. The trees are twisted and gnarled, their branches reaching out like grasping hands.
As they wander deeper into the forest, they hear the sound of faint laughter and whispers. It seems to be coming from all around them, but no matter how hard they look, they can’t see anyone.
Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet gives way and they find themselves falling into a deep, black abyss. They try to scream, but no sound comes out.
When they wake up, they are drenched in sweat and their heart is racing. They can’t shake the feeling that the nightmare was more than just a dream, but a warning of something terrible to come. They can’t help but wonder if it’s a reflection of past events or an omen of things yet to come.
